I went to the midnight showing with Kristin, Jess, and Tyler last night it this is the most awkward, overtly sexual movie ever. Crumby love story. Heigl's character was annoying and Butler's character will make your stomach turn. Aside from pretty shots of hot air balloon rides, there wasn't much I liked about this movie.
On a more exciting note, I'm leaving for Seal Beach, California this afternoon to visit family and hang out on the beach. Our Great Aunt Dot is celebrating her 96th? birthday, so everyone is getting together to visit and reunite since my grandpa's funeral. There is one silver lining to loved ones passing away - everyone seems to realize how precious time with one another really is.
EDIT: It was my Great Aunt Dot's NINETY-SEVENTH BIRTHDAY!!!
My mom's birthday was yesterday and I forgot to put up a blogpost in time for her! Shame on me, but I love you, Mama, and I hope you had a wonderful day!
We went to the grocery store together once I got off work and picked up some delicious spice cake mix and cream cheese frosting. It was delicious - particularly with the blue and green dolphin-shaped sprinkles.
Joe's Farm Grill with family, too. What a fun birthday weekend. :)
I'm super excited to be going to see Beauty & the Beast tonight with my family. It's for my mommy's birthday (July 20th) and we're all getting delicious pizza cookies afterward.
Unfortunately, I have to finish up this book so I can write an essay about it by midnight on Monday. :P We'll see how it goes...
Here are some random pictures from the summer so far. It would take hours to fully explain every picture, so I'll just label which city these are from. :)
