I went to the Hale Theater in Gilbert last weekend with my friend Kristin and her family to see The Little Shop of Horrors -- what a treat!
I'm glad that I saw the play before I saw the movie. Whenever I go to a musical, I always hate the leads in the show because they never measure up to the role in the movie version. Then I wind up loving the minor characters in the play because I almost never care about them in the movie. Musicals and I have quite a complicated relationship.
