I have some photographic evidence of his visit. :) This morning we went to breakfast with Josh and Mindy even though I woke up an hour and a half late! I need to get back on my sleep schedule. So here are the pictures.

Weekend of Tyler
It has been a very happy, fun couple of days. I picked up Tyler from the airport late late late Wednesday night -- after all those times of him parking and meeting me at the airport in Oakland, I figured I owed him one. :)
Thursday I was antsy all day in class. I didn't make it to Tyler's until 7 and we made a Starbucks run, walked around Ross, and sat around chatting at his house and making fake paper mustaches to put on Trever's senior pictures -- bwahaha.
Friday we shopped around Target and bought groceries for our baking adventures. We made "green stuff" which consists of green jell-o mix, marshmallows, pineapples, and cool whip (O Stewie...). Then we decided to make pumpkin pie. I think they turned out alright but we forgot to refrigerate them until just this morning... so we'll see. When we were making it, it seemed ultra runny before we baked it but I guess that's how it's supposed to be. Then the pans that we had weren't big enough so we put the extra pie filling in little cupcake holders. And there was no rolling pin for the crust. So yeah... baking adventure.
Last night we went out to dinner at Macayo's in Tempe with people from my trip this summer and it was fun to see everybody and introduce Tyler to all of them. Then we saw Quantum of Solace with Katie and her boyfriend Joe, Anna, and Ashley. It was pretty good but I haven't seen Casino Royale or any other Bond movies the whole way through so I don't have much to compare it to I suppose.
Today we're having "Thanksgiving" at Tyler's and I'm so excited to see everyone and eat some delicious food!

Part 1 : Don't wake me.
No school tomorrow!
No work tomorrow!
Tyler comes home the day after tomorrow!
All I have to do is finish my rough drafts tomorrow, work Wednesday morning, Faith Formation Wednesday night, clean, blah blah blah, and pick up Tyler from the airport!!!!!!!
I cannot believe we actually survived a full 3 months without each other. Who knew we had so much endurance - holy cow. Never thought I was capable of not losing my mind without him around. Granted, there were some close calls. :)
Part 2 : I plan on sleeping in.

Robert Sabuda's pop up books are pretty awesome-looking.
Emerald City in The Wizard of Oz
&
&
Poor Alice when she blows up in The Adventures of Alice in Wonderland.
and saw my friend
perform his Honors thesis and
as soon as I get a real break from school,
all I intend to do is play and smile every chance I get.
And maybe I'll write some stories about Mr. Stone, too. :)

Survey of American Literature makes me happy.
Recuerdo, Edna St. Vincent Millay, 1922
We were very tired, we were very merry--
We had gone back and forth all night on the ferry.
It was bare and bright, and smelled like a stable--
But we looked into a fire, we leaned across a table,
We lay on a hill-top underneath the moon;
And the whistles kept blowing, and the dawn came soon.
We were very tired, we were very merry--
We had gone back and forth all night on the ferry;
And you ate an apple, and I ate a pear,
From a dozen of each we had bought somewhere;
And the sky went wan, and the wind became cold,
And the sun rose dripping, a bucketful of gold.
We were very tired, we were very merry,
We had gone back and forth all night on the ferry.
We hailed, "Good morrow, mother!" to a shawl-covered head,
And bought a morning paper, which neither of us read;
And she wept, "God bless you!" for the apples and pears,
And we gave her all our money but our subway fares.
